is a Vancouver, B.C. based oil and gas exploration company, focused on hydrocarbon opportunities in Africa, including the countries of Liberia, Cote D‘Ivoire, and Ghana.  This region has shown increased promise for development of new hydrocarbon deposits. Simba Energy has already secured a Hydrocarbon Reconnaissance Permit in Liberia; the permit area extends over an area of 1,366 sq. kms and covers the entire onshore extent of the sedimentary basin known as the Robert-Bassa Basin

Simba Energy is the first junior resource company to pursue onshore oil and gas opportunities in the West Africa region since the late 1970’s, as the larger resource companies focused on offshore opportunities. Unsettled political issues certainly curtailed exploration activity but the countries in West Africa are now anxious to develop their natural resource industry and Simba Energy is a participant in this venture. The offshore hydrocarbon systems of West Africa are thought to run onshore as evidenced by existence of oil seeps, tar mats and 100-year-old abandoned wells through out the region.

The Company’s senior management team is comprised of seasoned individuals with esteemed careers in petroleum exploration and development, corporate finance and public company sectors.

In addition to aggressively developing its Liberian onshore asset the Company’s primary focus is to pursue and develop strategic oil exploration assets in Africa.
